Michael worked with fellow cinematographer and great friend Doug Gardner on the production for the BBC. Turkeys are fascinating birds, it was an amazing experience to spend 4 weeks filming their behavior. Female turkeys are the ones who pick their mate, this means it’s up to the males to stand out and put on a good show – but what happens when rival turkeys try to steal the limelight?
