Borealis And Bear Cubs Package #1
Wapusk National Park is the best place to look for polar bear cubs as they (and their mothers) emerge from their dens. These cubs are at their absolute cutest as they start their journey out onto the sea ice. We utilize a lodge just outside the park as a base of operations for our search. The lodge has unique access into the heart of the Western Hudson Bay polar bear denning area. In addition to photographing bear cubs, this is also the absolute best time of year to chase one of nature’s greatest shows, the aurora borealis.
